Portista Grujic says he will support Portugal in the game against Uruguay — DNOTICIAS.PT
Serbian international midfielder Marko Grujic, from FC Porto, today expressed support for Portugal for the meeting with Uruguay, in the second round of Group H of the 2022 Football World Cup, and expects a victorious result for the Portuguese.
The 26-year-old midfielder was used as a substitute in the match between Serbia and Cameroon, in the second round of the ‘poule’ G, and in the end he appeared in the mixed zone of the Al Janoub Stadium, in Wakrah.
“Yes, of course I will support [Portugal]🇧🇷 I hope they win, of course. My teammates play there, Diogo Costa and Pepe, but now I’m not in the best ‘mood’, expressed Grujic, to the media, after the three-goal draw.
The Serbs even had a two-goal advantage after starting to trail, a situation that “definitely cannot” happen again, according to Grujic.
“We need to win [a Suíça] and analyze this game, but first let’s look at tonight’s game between Brazil and Switzerland. We have to get the three points in the next game. We definitely can’t concede three goals, it’s the second game and we conceded one more goal [do que contra o Brasil]🇧🇷 Themes we focus on”, he began.
Despite having one more game, Serbia and Cameroon remain in the last two places in the group, both with one point, against three for Brazil and Switzerland, who will face forces later today at 19:00 (16:00 in Lisbon).
