Mentorship program from Technopark Istanbul – Entrepreneurship News
According to a report from Teknopark Istanbul, the placement of Technopark Istanbul by TÜBİTAK was given at the Cube Incubation Center with the participation of the Cube Mentorship promotion Program, mentors and new mentor candidates.
Within the scope of the program, where applications for mentors and mentee (receiving mentoring support) are continuing, it is planned to establish a sustainable and measurable mentoring system, especially by providing mentoring to the deep technology ecosystem.
Bilal Topçu, General Manager of Teknopark Istanbul, whose views were given in the statement, described the purpose of the program as an R&D-focused intensive, which produces and markets high value-added products at an international level, and said, “A strategic way for entrepreneurs to build a current situation analysis in international standards and methods. One of the biggest goals of this project is the use of commercial maturity level and R&D innovation capacities, thanks to strategies defined and implemented with the support of mentors.
The program, which includes mentoring arrangements and business activities to increase the business development and innovation capacities of technology-developing entrepreneurs, is supported within the scope of TÜBİTAK Mentor Interface (BIGG+). With the program, it is aimed to use the sales capacity and competitiveness of 40 SMEs by providing the necessary mentoring support for branding, institutionalization, commercialization and internationalization.
20 months later, within the scope of the Teknopark Istanbul mentoring program, informative trainings will be provided for mentee SMEs and trainings planned for personal development for mentors.
