Employees give LAK good references – Liechtenstein
SCHAAN – The Liechtenstein Elderly and Sick Aid (LAK) achieved third place in the Swiss Employer Award, which passed away this year. The employees attested to the LAK’s high degree of approval satisfaction.
The Liechtensteinische Alten- und Krankenhilfe (LAK) received third place at the presentation of the Swiss Employer Award 2022. In the category of old people’s and care centers, it even took first place, according to a statement on Friday. The award is given on the basis of a survey of responses in Liechtenstein and Switzerland, in which 42,390 employees from 145 companies took part this year. The LAK regularly takes part in the anonymous release survey conducted by the company icommit.
Lower values than 2018
Despite this result, there is a small fly in the ointment. In some subject areas, slightly lower levels of satisfaction were determined than in 2018. “The burdens and challenges of the pandemic certainly also play a role here,” Kurt Salzgeber, head of care and support at LAK, is quoted as saying in the statement. That is why health issues, physical stress and compatibility issues are still on the agenda.
The shortage of skilled workers is also a reality for the LAK and is making itself felt. According to the announcement, it often takes longer for vacancies to be filled. In an increasingly competitive labor market, however, this award represents a seal of quality for the LAK.
