Easy triumph of the Portuguese under-19 roller hockey team.
The Portuguese under-19 roller hockey team debuted this Sunday with a 23-0 rout against the United States in the category’s World Championship, taking place in San Juan, Argentina, as part of the World Roller Games.
The difference between the selections was reflected in the score and for the match to be the goals of João Pedro Inácio (2), Henrique Vigário (5), Filipe Martim (1), Miguel Henriques (3), Tiago Sanches (5) , Viti (3) and Diogo Pernas (4).
Despite the United States playing with two players of Argentine origin, the brothers Gennaro and Battista Comeglio, the Portuguese power was not contested and it was naturally that the team guided by Vasco Vaz reached the break to win by 13-0.

Portugal is part of Group A of the regular phase and on Monday will face Spain (opponents), Great Britain (Tuesday) and Colombia (Thursday). The top two teams qualify for the semi-finals.
Group B is made up of the teams of Italy, Argentina (hosts), Chile, Mexico and Switzerland. In the first game of the group, Italy thrashed Mexico 15-0.
