It was almost fashion week at the Rives de l’Orne in Caen (Calvados)this Saturday, October 29, 2022. A fashion show was staged in an alley of the mall at 11:30 a.m. At the origin of this project, Margot Morcel, fashion design student and founder of Reboob project.
Pink, pink and more pink
On the pink carpet, installed for the occasion, a dozen apprentice models paraded, all dressed in pink. Apprentices because they parade for the first and (perhaps) only time. Indeed, Margot Morcel has decided to dedicate her parade to women and men with breast cancer. It was therefore patients from the François Baclesse center in Caen (which treat cancers) and caregivers who marched.
Telling about the fight against illness
Before the parade, they all have their testimony recorded regarding the disease and how they decided to bounce back. And it is through their words that Margot Morcel imagined her fashion show. It began with the fight of its women and men to end with a rebirth.
An emotional parade that seduced the public.
