Slovenian state holding received 183 million euros in dividends for 2021
LJUBLJANA (Slovenia), October 27 (SeeNews) – Slovenian State Holding (SDH) received 182.9 million euros ($183.1 million) in dividends for 2021 from companies in its asset management portfolio, while for the year 2020 received 150.9 million euros in dividends, they announced. .
The sum is significantly higher than in 2021 (for the 2020 business year) and at the level of the goals of the annual management plan, SDH announced on Wednesday.
The largest dividend payers are Zavarovalnica Triglav, Krka, NLB, Telekom, Petrol and Luka Koper, which generated 83% of all dividend payments for 2021.
Of the total dividend, 123 million euros will be distributed to the state, while 59.9 million euros will be retained by SSH, which represents the state’s ownership stake in more than 50 companies.
Return on equity (ROE) was 6.1% last year, or 1.9 percentage points above the target value for 2021.
“The general recovery of the Slovenian economy, which exceeded expectations, contributed significantly to these results, and various anti-COVID measures also had an impact,” notes SHH.
SSH, which was founded in 2014, is also in charge of managing the privatization process and settling the state’s obligations.
