San Marino. Presentation of the letters from Ambassador Leopold of Sweden
“In the morning in Stockholm, Ambassador Leopoldo Guardigli presented King Charles XVI’s letters to His Majesty Gustav of Sweden”.
This was announced in a press release from the Secretariat of State for Foreign Affairs. “The ceremony, which took place at the Royal Palace through a formal protocol, was preceded by a series of meetings held at the Swedish Ministry of Foreign Affairs with senior officials in charge of bilateral relations with San Marino. At the center of these is the path of meetings for ever greater European integration, also in the light of the imminent presidency, by the current challenges, particularly special, focused on the global positions taken in the face of the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, and the international repercussions on an energy level.
As part of the ceremony for the presentation of the letters, Ambassador Guardigli spoke to His Majesty King Charles XVI Guastavo of Sweden, illustrating the specificities and policies of the Republic.
Accompanied by the Honorary Consul General of San Marino in Sweden, Richard Lettström, Ambassador Guardigli had a meeting with the officials of the Europe Department, with whom he met to deepen the ambitions of developing the bilateral and multilateral relationship;
The San Marino diplomat then delivered a letter from the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs addressed to the Swedish Minister of Foreign Affairs.
