Liechtenstein: Body discovered in the Rhine – helicopter can only salvage the dead woman
At 1:13 p.m., the operations center of the rural police received a report that a
person was seen in the water floating downstream. The state police immediately moved out
and the St. Gallen canton police were able to quickly confirm this message. It follows

Between Bendern and Ruggell, the helicopter crew managed to get the person floating out of the water. The doctor could only determine death. Investigations revealed that it was a woman from Liechtenstein. The circumstances leading to the death are now being clarified by the state police. According to initial findings, a third-party fault or violent crime can be determined. In addition to the state police, the St. Gallen canton police, the AP3 air rescue service and the Liechtenstein crisis intervention team were also deployed.
