BKT Series. Pisa – Modena 4-2. Pisa drops poker and wins the first win of the season at the Arena. Double Torregrossa to drive the Arena crazy
PRE RACE. Nicolas recovers, Barba is not even on the bench. Mister D’Angelo in front of the former Reggina goalkeeper fielded the Icelandic Hermannsson and Rus with Calabresi and Beruatto masters of the outside lanes. On the midline Marin is unavailable due to disqualification so that Nagy and Ionita are deployed in the median with Tourè and Sibilli outside. Gliozzi and Tramoni are the two forwards. The Modena that comes from three consecutive victories (and from the parenthesis of the elimination from the Italian Cup with Cremonese) responds with a 4-3-2-1. In front of Gagno there are Pergreffi and Silvestri with Coppolaro and Azzi on the side lanes. Magnino, Gerli and Armellini will act on the midline. The former Tremolada alongside Falcinelli with Bofanti lined up as the only striker. 900 Modena fans are placed in Curva Sud. Before the initial whistle Caracciolo goes to lay a bouquet of flowers under the North in memory of Fabrizio Cinacchi, a Nerazzurri fan who passed away this week.
THE FIRST TIME. Pisa in the Nerazzurri suit, Modena in yellow. The Nerazzurri, who attack towards the North, start very strongly. Sibilli immediately tries to feed Gliozzi who doesn’t get there with his head. Shortly after the same Gliozzi after a good reconquest instead of looking vertically for Sibilli, looking for the right from 22 meters, Gagno easily crashes on the ground. Modena in clear difficulty. Nagy tries to illuminate with a vertical kiss for Gliozzi still anticipated by the exit of goalkeeper Gagno. Pisa has a great chance in the 18th minute when Rus catches Sibilli who finds Gliozzi overtaking Gagno with his head, but the ball hits the post. On the reversal in front, however, Modena passes: lucky action with a rebound attached to the penalty area. Bonfanti finds the ball on his feet at the spot and a penalty in motion that displaces Nicolas: 0-1. The referee in the action of the goal did not stop the game for a clash in which Ionita remains on the ground amid protests from the public. Pisa’s answer is in a turn of Tourè served by Sibilli: Gagno locks to the ground. Luca D’Angelo’s formation tries with another left from Sibilli’s sixteen meters: a ball that ends at the side of the far post. Meanwhile the Curva remembers its former captain Fabrizio Ferrigno. At half an hour Modena has the great opportunity to double: Falcinelli serves Azzi who, however, from the left kicks on the outside of the net. The first yellow of the match is for the author of the goal Bonfanti in the 32nd minute. At 36 ‘combination all the way to the right: Tourè triggers Calabresi who makes the cross for the head of Gliozzi, a ball that still ends at the edge of the pole. Pisa in force. Sibilli acts as a bank for Gliozzi, but Pergreffi is careful and dirty the trajectory of passage. Shortly after it is again Sibilli to feed Tramoni in the center of the area: ball to the side. Pisa can’t find a draw. Beruatto enters the area from the left after 44 minutes and finds Coppolare’s deviation on the cross with the hand of a Gialloblù defender. Gariglio points to the penalty spot and after a brief consultation with the Var he confirms the decision. Gliozzi goes to the spot, Gagno deflects for a corner amidst the desperation of the Arena. But Pinerolo’s whistle says that it is necessary to repeat for an early movement by the Modenese goalkeeper. Gliozzi comes back on the spot and this time displaces Gagno: 1-1. We go to the break on the result of 1-1.
THE SECOND TIME. At the start of the recovery in Modena immediately inside Davide Marsura in place of the yellow card Bonfanti author of the momentary Canary advantage. The first action of the recovery is from Pisa: Beruatto triggers Tramoni who disorients his opponent with a feint, but Gagno saves to the ground. Pisa insists on the attack on the Beruatto – Sibilli axis. Modena controls the Nerazzurri sprints encouraged by their wonderful audience. Rus is the first player to take the yellow in this shooting start. The two teams play openly. Tramoni serve Sibilli who starts a cross from the right thwarted by the canarian defense. Meanwhile, Modena conquers another corner, which, however, is not successful. At 60 ‘double change in Pisa: D’Angelo inserts Mastinu for Ionita and Torregrossa for Tramoni. Just Torregrossa ends up on the notebook of the referee Gariglio shortly after his entry. A yellow perhaps too hasty. The Pisa in the last half hour sides with Gliozzi and Torregrossa in attack and Sibilli half point behind them. D’Angelo wants to win the game. On Gagno’s erroneous postponement in the 69th minute, the ball ends on Gliozzi’s feet but he thinks too much and doesn’t kick towards the goal. Incredible. D’Angelo meanwhile add Morutan for Sibilli and Masucci for Gliozzi. The goal arrives in the 73rd minute from the corner flag Morutan goes to the center of the Torregrossa area primed by Calabresi, turns the ball under the cross: 2-1. After a check from the Var the referee validates the goal. The Arena can explode. In Modena also Ponsi inside instead of an exhausted Armellino. The Arena sings and is celebrating. At the end of ten minutes more recovery. The Nerazzurri find the trio: Torregrossa finds Masucci vertically, a diagonal that leaves no way out for Gagno: 3-1. Not even the time to rejoice, however, that in the 84th minute the Modena reduces the distance with a left from the sixteen meters of Magnino that leaves no chance for Nicolas: 3-2. In Pisa three minutes from the end in Canestrelli for Calabresi. Meanwhile, at minute 88 Torregrossa goes down in the area and Gariglio assigns the penalty to the Nerazzurri. Torregrossa goes on the spot, but the Var calls the referee to review the action and retraces his steps and does not concede the penalty. There are five minutes of recovery. Hermannsson is cautioned. Rus sweeps a furious melee in the area. These are the last few minutes of suffering for the whole stadium. Torregrossa is still spread in the area after Masucci’s throw. It is a penalty that at first is not assigned then the regular position of 10 by Luca D’Angelo is assigned the penalty. Torregrossa goes on the spot and displaces Gagno: 4-2 and first victory of the season.
