Heavy rain puts 17 districts of mainland Portugal under yellow warning
Notice will be in effect between 09:00 today and 18:00 on Sunday
Seventeen districts of mainland Portugal are under yellow warning this Saturday due to the forecast of periods of rain or sometimes heavy showers, according to the Portuguese Institute of the Sea and the Atmosphere (IPMA).
According to the IPMA, the yellow warning will be in effect between 9 am today and 6 pm on Sunday for most of these 17 districts.
The yellow warning is issued by the IPMA whenever there is a risk situation for activities dependent on the weather situation.
