Letter to the editor – switch on the brain …
… we should, says Urs Kindle in his letter to the editor of October 20th. This because he thinks we are too stupid to differentiate between vaccination and booster. My wife and I were vaccinated at the Mühleholz vaccination center on the first day. Not because we felt we had to, but because we wanted to. It was clear to us that this fourth vaccination was the second reinforcement or the second booster. Since we, like any average Liechtensteiner, can easily count to four, no problem. As with the first three appointments, we were informed about any side effects. We also know that this vaccine is not 100 percent effective and there is a residual risk of infection. When it comes to health, the doctor is our advisor and not Hans or Heiri or Urs from Triesen. We trust the doctor. When it comes to developing vaccines, we trust the specialists, in this case the virologists and medical researchers. It’s interesting that suddenly so many people are more familiar with this topic than those who have been dealing with this topic for years. So, it’s quite simple: if you want to be vaccinated, you should go and if you don’t want to, you should stop. Both groups must bear the consequences themselves or, if they become ill, endure them.
