Caprabo expands its banner in the Principality of Andorra
Caprabo extends its franchise with a new store in the parish of La Massana, in Andorra. With this opening, the company advances in its expansion plan and exceeds the openings made during the previous year.
The Head of Caprabo Franchises, Claudio Estévez, comments that “this opening in Andorra is an example of Caprabo’s commitment to the franchised store model, a model that allows us to expand our presence in key territories through an offer adapted to the new needs of customers. Andorra is a market that we know, where we already have 2,717 mtwo of commercial area divided into two stores. Without a doubt, it is an environment in which we will continue betting”.

The store is located on Carrer de les Costes de Giberga, employs 14 people and has a commercial area of 400 square meters. The supermarket has extensive opening hours, Monday to Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sundays from 9:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. The company is thus committed to the Principality of Andorra, adding this opening to the two supermarkets it already has in the parishes of Escaldes-Engordany and Andorra La Vella, where the Caprabo brand has been present since 2011.

Caprabo continues to advance in its expansion plan and grows its presence in strategic areas. So far, the company has opened 15 new supermarkets in 13 towns in the four Catalan provinces and Andorra: Cornellá de Llobregat, Barcelona, Esparraguera, L´Hospitalet de Llobregat, Lleida, Sant Cugat del Vallés, Vic, Tarragona, Sils, Vila-Seca and Artés. In these last three towns the company still did not have a presence. With these 15 openings, it has already opened more stores than in the entire previous year.
Caprabo has a Regional Proximity Program through which it sells its own products from each of the Catalan regions. The new company stores, in addition to incorporating the new store model, also work to publicize and promote the consumption of products from the area.
