He stated the president of the interregional trade union council of San Marino, Emilia Romagna and Marche, Agostino D’Antonio: “Too often and quickly, both in Italy and in San Marino there are legislative interventions that cause interpretative distortions and discrimination in the world of cross-border workers and work. This is an example of this in San Marino, in the recent approval of the Law 129/22 ‘Interventions in support of the family’, art. 28, in which cross-border commuters are no longer granted parental leave for children with very serious pathologies. For a country that aspires to join Europe, this serious discrimination must be eradicated. It is therefore necessary that all the parties involved make every effort to ensure that these situations do not happen again ”.
