Katharina Kramer new Operations Manager at the Platzl Hotel Munich: day pass
That Hotel Platzl in Munich’s old town has a new operations manager: Effective immediately, Katharina Kramer will be responsible for planning, managing and controlling work processes in the 167 rooms and large four-star superior hotel.
The graduate hotel and restaurant manager comes from the Radisson Blu Hotel Zurich Airport, where she was most recently under contract as Rooms Division Manager. In her new position, as Director Heiko Buchta’s “right hand”, she will coordinate and optimize the processes throughout the hotel in cooperation with the managers. Her tasks also include the development of strategies for profit optimization.
“Katharina Kramer looks back on more than ten years of experience in leading hotels in Germany, Switzerland and the United Emirates – she will enrich our business with ideas and break new ground with ‘out-of-the-box thinking'” , says Buchta, who is very much looking forward to working with his new operations manager.
Katharina Kramer completed her diploma in hotel and restaurant management at the Swiss École hôtelière de Lausanne as the “winner of the best diploma project”. She also completed an apprenticeship as a hotel specialist at the Hotel Berlin, Berlin.
This was followed by positions in the Hotel Park Rotana Abu Dhabi, in the Jumeirah at Etihad Towers (Abu Dhabi), in the Hyatt Regency Dubai Creek Heights and most recently in the Radisson Blu Hotel Zurich Airport – first as Front Office Manager, later as Rooms Division Manager.
