Girls camp was a success – Liechtenstein
RUGGELL – The traditional football camp for girls during the autumn holidays also met with great interest this year. 37 girls between the ages of 7 and 14 spent the second week of the autumn holidays at the Widau leisure park in Ruggell. In addition, 17 players from the FF19 elite team also used this offer as a “training camp”.
Under the guidance of qualified trainers and players from the women’s national team, over 50 girls and young women completed the five-day girls’ football camp in Ruggell. Daily units on the football field were on the program both in the morning and in the afternoon. In addition to lunch together, a camp Olympics provided entertainment, with alternative variants such as football curling, football bowling or lucky football on the program.

A highlight was the visit of the two Super League players from FC St. Gallen, Stephanie Brecht and Ylenia Caputo, who not only brought autographs but also told interesting stories from their lives as footballers. At the final tournament on Friday afternoon, the football-mad girls were able to put what they had learned into practice and then look forward to great certificates, medals and a Swarovski necklace.
