San Marino. Unions: “Agreement reached for the renewal of the insurance contract”
It will last three years. Expected increase of 3% for the years 2022 and 2023, and of 2% for 2024. It will have to be ratified with the referendum among the workers in the sector.
There Service Federations CSdL CDLS USL explains that “The negotiations for the renewal of the contract of the 14 San Marino insurance agencies, which expired on 31 December 2016, were concluded with the reaching of an agreement between the trade unions and ANIS, which was presented to the workers in the assembly of 14 October . The workers voted in favor of this agreement, giving a mandate to the Service Federations of CSdL, CDLS and USL to sign the pre-agreement for the renewal of the contract with ANIS.
The renewal can only concern the economic part of the contract, as requested by the union in the negotiation, given the particular economic situation which sees a significant increase in the cost of living and therefore the priority need to increase workers’ wages to cope with these inflation dynamics. . The contract will have a three-year duration, from January 1, 2022 to December 31, 2024.
An increase of 3% is expected for 2022, with the recognition of arrears from 1 January, which will be paid in the next paycheck. For the year 2023 another 3% is recognized, and for 2024 a further 2%.
“The sector of insurance agencies – they say Stefano ColombariSecretary, FUCS-CSdL, Nicola CantiFCS-CDLS Secretary, e Lucia CeccoliSecretary, USL Services Federation – despite the difficulties experienced during the Covid emergency and in particular in the period of the lockdown, and some uncertainties that lie ahead in the immediate future, have made the need to create a system prevail, reaching a pre-agreement with the union for the renewal of the sector contract, which will be ratified by the workers in the coming months through the referendum, as required by the representativeness of 2016 “.
In conclusion, the three Secretaries of the Service Federations hope that “the same sense of responsibility will also be demonstrated by companies and trade associations in contract renewals that have not yet been close”.
