Housing project: 17 new apartments are being built in Hof near Salzburg
A total of 17 apartments will be built on Sportsplatzstraße in Hof near Salzburg by spring 2024 by the non-profit general construction, housing and settlement cooperative – BWSG for short.
COURTYARD NEAR SALZBURG. On around 1,500 square meters, people in the Flachgau municipality of Hof will find plenty of space and a new home in the future. In an interview with the district newspaper Flachgau, regional councilor Andrea Klambauer says: “I think it’s good that this mix of housing types is being realized here together. As a state, we are investing around three million euros from housing subsidies.”
17 new housing units
Eleven of the 17 new residential units will be starter apartments with a size of around 45 square meters built. “The rent will amount to around 350 euros, excluding operating costs. This is a further step towards more affordable housing, especially for young people from the community,” says Provincial Councilor Andrea Klambauer. The remaining six apartments are subsidized rental apartments. The mayor of Hof bei Salzburg, Thomas Ließ, said in an interview with the district newspaper Flachgau: “For us as a municipality, it is important that we can offer our young citizens something. The starter apartments are a very worthwhile project and a benefit for the community.”
