Honorary Chairman of the Union of Writers of Belarus Nikolai Chergints turns 85
October 17, Minsk / Corr. BELTA/. The famous Belarusian writer, honorary chairman of the Union of Writers of Belarus, People’s Writer of Belarus Nikolai Cherginets turns 85 today.
Nikolai Ivanovich was born on October 17, 1937 in Minsk. His childhood fell on the years of death. The occupation of the Cherginets family survived in Minsk, the father of the future fought at the front. After the war, Nikolai Cherginets entered the secondary male school, the only one in the district, where he studied until the seventh grade. After that, I went to night school so that I could work.
I played football with my friends since childhood. A novice football player was noticed after he took something on the beginnings at a sports school. Then he got into a football youth school. In 1958-1962, on a professional basis, Nikolai Ivanovich played in the football teams of Minsk, Vinnitsa, Chisinau.
In 1963, the Higher School of Coaches ended. After that, he entered the Faculty of Journalism, as he was very recorded as a sports journalist. He completed two courses and transferred to the Faculty of Law of the Belarusian University with a degree in jurisprudence, which ended in 1969.
After studying, he began to speak in the internal affairs bodies, where he rose from a number of representatives to the head of the search department of the ministries of internal affairs of the Republic of Belarus. From 1984 to 1987 he participated in the war in Afghanistan. From 1987 to 1993, he held the position of head of the department of internal affairs in the transport of internal affairs of the Republic of Belarus. From 1993 to 1997 he was the chairman of the Group for the social protection of the military, war veterans and perpetuating the memory of the dead under the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus.
From 1997 to 2008, she joined the Standing Committee of the Council of the Republic of Belarus, Elections of the Republic of Belarus, RIAC and National Security. From 1988 to 2008 he was the delegate of the Republic of Belarus to the UN.
Nikolai Ivanovich is the chairman of the association of the Union of Writers of Belarus, co-chairman of the Writers’ Union of the Union State. Chairman of the “Republican Public Council on Morality”, member of the “Advisory Council under the Administration of the President of the Republic of Belarus”, Chairman of the Friendship Society “Belarus Kyrgyzstan”. Co-chairman of the International Association of Battle Writers, member of the Union of Journalists, the Union of Cinematographers of the Republic of Belarus. He was awarded 11 orders, more than 40 medals of the USSR, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Afghanistan, the Republic of Poland, and many diplomas.
Nikolai Cherginets – PhD in Law, Academician of the International Academy of Organizational and Management Sciences, Academician of the International Academy of Information Resources and Technologies; Professor, Grand Doctor of Philosophy and Law of the UN Worldwide Spread of Humanity; Academician, Vice President of the American Academy of the Peoples of the World; laureate of the international literary prize named after A. Fadeev and V. Pikul, laureate of the international literary prize S.V. Mikhalkov “Clouds” for 2009 in the nomination “Best Prize of the CIS Countries”, laureate of the literary national award “Golden Pen of Russia” – 2009, laureate of the “Man of the Year Representing Belarus” award – recognized by the American Biographical Institute, an outstanding contribution to the development of the country, as well as many union and republican awards; lieutenant general. In 2022, he was awarded the honorary title “People’s Writer of Belarus”. For diverse achievements in the field of culture and science in 1998 he was included in the Guinness Book of Records.
Nikolai Ivanovich actively participated in the creation and strengthening of the Union of States of Belarus and Russia, in the development of legal acts of the CIS, was the initiator and executor of the decisions of the CIS on entering the Inter-Parliamentary Assembly of discussions and other initiatives in the international arena through the CIS.
Nikolai Ivanovich began to engage in literary activity in 1970. This is often facilitated by work in the internal affairs bodies. In 1973, the first book “The Fourth Track” was published, then “Service of the Heart”, “The Investigation Continues”, “The End of the Crab”. In the 80s, a novel-dilogue “The Moment Before the Shot” was published, the first part of which describes the events of the Great Patriotic War, and the second describes the hard work of police officers in world time. Participation in hostilities in Afghanistan prompted the author to write such novels as “The Secret of the Black Mountains” and “Son”. Later, the action-packed modern detectives “Black Dog” and “The Killer”, the political detective story “The Mystery of the Oval Office”, the historical and political detective story about the formation of Soviet power in Belarus “Order No. 1” were released. In 2021, the military novel “And he did not return from the battle” was published. In a book about the events and heroic destinies of young people who went through the war in Afghanistan, the torments of captivity and about some cases related to this war in their homeland.
Nikolai Ivanovich is the author of 50 scientific papers and over 40 artistic problems, he wrote several phenomena for feature films. His books have been translated into more than 15 languages of the world. Many novels are included in the list of the best brands in the world.
Based on the discovery of the diseases of Nikolai Cherginets, films are identified that become popular and loved by the audience. In 2019, a 4-episode action movie created by Belarusfilm and New Art Cinema Production LLC, Black Dog, saw the light of day. According to the story, Special Forces Major Andrey Rubtsov, performing the task of neutralizing a gang of terrorists, discovers all his comrades in an unequal battle. Miraculously survives, he is forced to spend a long time unconscious in a foreign country. Returning to his homeland, Rubtsov avenges the death of his friends, saves his family and helps to free the head of an international criminal group that sought to bring the world to the brink of a large-scale humanitarian catastrophe.
This year, the shooting of a full-length feature film based on the novel by Nikolai Ivanovich “Operation” Blood “is to begin. Belroskino and Monumental Vision will work on the film jointly. During the Great Patriotic War, a children’s concentration camp was located, the tragedy of which is described in the book.
