Helsinki Roosters sign All American DE William Sewell
The Helsinki Roosters / Finland have bolstered their defense by signing former All-American defensive end William Sewell Frostburg State (NCAA Div. III).
6’1″, 245 pounds, 25 years old Sewell, spent part of the 2022 season Oslo the vikings / Norway help them claim Norwegian national championship. The international veteran also played the 2019 season and the entire shortened 2020 season The towers of Copenhagen in Danish Nationalligaen. As a member of the association Towers Sewell was named after a Danish League All Star two consecutive seasons.
Original Silver Spring, Maryland, played four seasons Frostburg State University where he was voted a D3 All Americans twice and led the team in tackles, tackles for loss and sacks three straight years. During his four-year career Bobcats, Sewell recorded 235 tackles, 56.5 tackles for loss and 24 sacks. His cousin is Washington commanders tight end Vernon Davis, and they spent summers training together.
