Man seriously stabbed in possible fight in Oslo – NRK Norway – Overview of news from different parts of the country
The police went to Grünerløkka in Oslo after reports of a fight in which a person was injured with a knife. The injured person has been taken to Ullevål hospital with serious injuries.
– The police received a report of a seriously injured person, and that there was a lot of blood, says police chief Anders Kjendalen. There were five people in the apartment, and the other four have been taken into custody.
– There has probably been talk of a fight involving the use of a knife, where the injured person has a major injury in the year, the police said earlier.
Charged with grievous bodily harm
– A person has been arrested and charged with grievous bodily harm. Four other people have the status of witnesses, says crime leader Eivind Håndstad to NTB.
All must be men. Håndstad says he does not know how old they are, or exactly how many people have been in the apartment.
From night to Sunday, the police’s forensic technicians are at the scene and carry out technical investigations.
– We will continue with the investigation of this case, both tactical and technical investigations throughout the night, says Håndstad.
Relationship between the victim and the arrested
The sequence of events is unclear.
– We don’t know anything more about the cause, but we will prioritize the questioning of witnesses and the questioning of others in order to gain a little more clarity in the sequence of events, says Håndstad.
– What can you say about the relationship between the victim and the perpetrator?
– We have a hunch that there is a relationship. What kind of relationship do we not want to go out with at the present time, says Håndstad.
