By the end of 2022, it is planned to open three crossing points across the state border in the west of Ukraine: one in Nizhankovychi-Malkhovychi on the border with Poland, and two in Krasnoilsk-Vikovu-de-Sus and Dyakivtsi-Rakovets on the border with Romania. This is the permission of the agency Ukrinform Deputy Minister of Infrastructure Mustafa Nayem.
According to him, the Uzhhorod-Vyshnye Nimetske checkpoint on the border with Slovakia will be opened in the first quarter of 2023.
“The Krasnoilsk – Vikovu-de-Sous point will be launched in stages, starting this month. First, cars weighing up to 3.5 tons will be allowed to pass, then – for empty trucks, and later it will function at full capacity. Also, by the end of the year, we plan to open for discovery”. of transport Dyakivtsi – Rakovets and Nizhankovychy – Malkhovychy. The Nizhankovichi point will initially function only for the passage of empty vehicles. It is built from scratch. It is temporary and needed to speed up traffic flow along another western border. I also hope that in the first quarter of next year, the Uzhhorod-Vyshnye Nimetske crossing point will be put into operation,” Nayem said.
Work is also underway to restore roads in the directions Delovo-Valja-Višeului and Teresva-Kimpulung la Tisa.
