The 3rd round of the Portuguese Cup starts today
Estoril Praia will today be the first team in the I Portuguese football league to compete for one of the 32 spots in the fourth round of the Portuguese Football Cup, at Amora’s ground, in Liga 3.
The formation commanded by Nelson Veríssimo, Atletismo by order of the I Liga visits Amora, sixth contract of the Series B of the third level, at the Carla Sacramento Municipal Complex, in Seixal, from 20:45.
The remaining 17 teams from the I Liga make their debut in the competition on Saturday, in the case of Benfica, who leads the I Liga, at Caldas, and on Sunday, with visits from FC Porto, holder of the trophy, to Anadia and Sporting to Varzim.
Also today, BSAD, from the II League, visits Olhanense, from the Portuguese Championship, at 15:00, before Moreirense and Vilafranquense play, from 15:30, in Minho, one of the two duels between second-tier clubs – the other Nacional and Oliveirense, in Madeira.
The draw for the fourth round is scheduled for Tuesday.
