Avignon exhibition center: climate change at the heart of the Med’Agri exhibition

It’s a unmissable meeting for farmers in the south of France: the Med’Agri showwill welcome professionals from October 18 to 20, 2022. For its third edition, the organizers, including the PACA Regional Chamber of Agriculture, have chosen to focus on climate change and sustainable development.

Tourism, agriculture and climate change
During these three days, stands will be set up in Hall L of the Agro Parc exhibition center in Avignon. Five agents from the Department will take turns to answer questions about the aid in place in terms of irrigation, land, sustainable investments for young farmers but also local consumption and short circuits or even agritourism. Subjects concerned in a department which has been particularly affected by the drought and where tourism is a pillar of the local economy.
Two conferences will also be organized around resource management.
– Tuesday, October 18 at 2 p.m.: “Solidarity farmers: solutions at your service to limit unsold goods”.
– Thursday 20 October at 9.30 am: “Managers of collective irrigation networks facing climate change”.
