No plans for the last weekend of the month? The Monumental Tour invades the city of Lisbon for the first time with lots of music and a light show. The event celebrates the end of the Portugal-France 2022 Season. Admission is free.
Created by dj and french Michael Canitrot, producer the Monumental Tour is a project that aims to remember the preservation of historical heritage while bringing electronic music and digital art to a wider audience.
On October 29, at 10:30 pm, you will be able to watch the Monumental Tour show at Praça do Município, in Lisbon. Created by French artists, an AV-extension of lights and video projection will cover the facade of Lisbon City Hall.
To give even more life to the show, the music comes from the collaboration of Michael Canitrot and the Portuguese djs Xinobi and Diana Oliveira. In the projections, you can also watch some works by the Portuguese visual artist Vanessa Teodoro.
The Monumental Tour, sponsored by the French National Commission of UNESCO, promotes a dialogue between monuments and new technologies that video, through a scenario composed of lights, mapping and electronic music, offers a modern perspective on heritage.
