By the end of the year, Ukraine expects to receive almost 11 billion dollars in financial aid.
Since the beginning of the Russian invasion in February, Ukraine has received about $19.4 billion in financial aid from foreign partners, to be Ministry of Finance.
Ukraine expects to receive 5 billion euros from the EU, 4.5 billion dollars from the United States, and 1.3 billion dollars from the IMF by the end of the year, concluded Finance Minister Serhiy Marchenko during a meeting with US Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen in Washington.
“We continue to work fully, ensuring all priority expenditures of the state budget, including the aid of partners from the USA.
According to him, US grant aid has reached 8.5 billion dollars. The money was directed to the state budget of Ukraine to stabilize the economy and ensure protected expenses in wartime conditions: payment of salaries, pensions, social assistance.
In her turn, Yellen emphasized that the USA continues to resolutely support Ukraine.
