San Marino. Libera: “Pedini Amati script: excuses accepted …”
Libera also spoke on the recent statements by Secretary of State Pedini Amati, who returned to talk about the press conference during which I harshly criticized the government.
Almost two weeks after the most tragicomic press conference of recent years, the super secretary Federico Pedini Amati returns to speak and, if possible, amazes us even more.
He defines his as an “overwhelming”, apologizes and announces that he has resigned in the hands of government colleagues who, obviously, unanimously confirm his trust. Film already seen and reviewed, unfortunately.
Evidently it is no longer customary to deliver the resignation to the Regency and then discuss it in the Great and General Council! As Ciavatta did, Pedini also provided his “non-irrevocable resignation” and preferred the armchair to concrete facts.
As if holding a top position of such great importance were a joke: first he accused his colleagues of inability, of lack of results, of reckless actions for the country, of alleged illicit actions and then of Pedini, the former hard and pure a bit ‘like Ciavatta, it’s all over, indeed we are moving forward more determined than before. And it doesn’t matter if the various resolutions he indicted, from the Borgo roundabout to the € 300,000 consultancy for the hospital, were shared by Pedini himself. It matters little if once again our institutions are trampled on by amateurish behavior.
It seems like a joke, were it not for the fact that there is a Secretary of State, a Congress of State and a country that deserves credible and coherent institutions.
As I have announced, everything has ended in nothing: Pedini has taken a few pat on the back, some “like” on social media, but remains in his chair. Then if the machine works in his office or it doesn’t matter, now it doesn’t matter anymore.
The priority is the armchair and the survival of a government that quarrels over, produces nothing if nothing debt on debt, postpones every decision while telling of making epochal reforms and denouncing, intimidating, those who oppose this modus operandi. Unless, in this last case, your name is Pedini or Ciavatta: in this case an apology is enough, a “real” repentance and the resignation is revoked and all the dust ends up under the carpet.
Libera continues to work for a completely different political and institutional decision than that of this Executive.
In the next few days we will present an interpellation to ask the Government if everything that Pedini claimed in the drama (quote from Emanuele Santi, Network Secretary at Smtv) of a few weeks ago at a press conference is true.
