GLOBAL CONFERENCE ON RESPONSIBLE MANAGEMENT AT MCI
“Changemakers” from all over the world are guests in Innsbruck | Responsible corporate management and sustainability in focus
Under the motto “Societal Impact of Entrepreneurship & Innovation: Responsible Management Training for the Changemakers of Tomorrow”, managers, researchers, lecturers and students from all over the world met at the Entrepreneurial School® in Innsbruck to discuss the latest findings and practical applications of responsible corporate management and the promoting the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
With 150 delegates from 30 countries and a single program of over 70 sessions, the conference was a resounding success. In currently high-ranking formats, the participants exchanged ideas intensively over three days on the topic “Societal Impact through Entrepreneurship & Innovation”.
Numerous highlights
The highlights of the conference are not only numerous workshops, such as climate simulation or effective leadership practices, but also the presentation of research work on topics such as management training for sustainable innovation and entrepreneurship, future studies, poverty reduction, gamification, climate change and sustainable change agents. There will also be panel discussions and contributions from inspiring speakers. Insights into topics such as social entrepreneurship, paradigm shifts and decarbonization.
Guests were also Georg Willi, Mayor of Innsbruck, and Deputy Governor Ingrid Felipe, who both emphasized our responsibility for the future and the important role that education plays in this.
The conference was made possible by the friendly support of the conference partner Innsbrucker Kommunalbetriebe (IKB), the city of Innsbruck and IFL Engineering Consulting and the sponsors the Tyrolean Chamber of Commerce (WKO), Cura Cosmetics and Bio vom Berg.

Green Event Tyrol
The RMER Conference 2022 at the MCI was awarded Green Event Tirol. Green events are events where special consideration is given to ecological, social and economic sustainability. Green Events Tirol is an initiative of the Tirol climate alliance and the Tirol environmental association in cooperation with the state of Tirol to promote an environmentally and socially aware event culture.

In 2021 the MCI Center for Responsible Management & Social Impact was founded to initiate, coordinate and support measures, projects and activities that prepare our students for a complex and uncertain world, create real impact through research and the discourse about Stimulate, support and promote commitment, responsibility, sustainability and ethics.

MCI | has been alive since it was founded The Entrepreneurial School® adheres to the simple values of UN PRME (Principles for Responsible Management Education) and has been a member since 2011. PRME is an initiative of the UN Global Compact Office, the United Nations business network, for sustainable and responsible corporate management. The PRME principles are intended to support universities in educating a new generation of leaders who are able to responsibly deal with complex challenges in the economy and society of the 21st century.
