Nauta Xperience Open Day took place in Lisbon
The Nauta Xperience Open Day took place on Tuesday, at Nauta’s facilities, in Lisbon. With this event, the company presents something different, “never done in the market, providing a moment of experience with the brand, that is, impacting through experience”, explains, director general of Nauta to Security Magazine.
“We are going to have an event every month”, adds the official, noting that they will take place in Lisbon and will be attended by four partners (manufacturers) from different areas, not competing with each other. In this edition, manufacturers in the field of fire detection, intrusion, audio and software were present. In the next editions, the company will manufacture areas such as video, access control, among others.
These events enable one-to-one contact with customers and partners, allowing them to interact directly with certain technologies and, at the same time, provide opportunities for business contact. Basically, Nauta presents itself, through this initiative, as an “aggregator of interests”, bringing together manufacturers, consumers and integrators in the same space. In terms of vertical transport, the main focus of Nauta and its manufacturers is retail, hotels and.
2023: a year of challenges
In recent years, marked by the Covid19 pandemic, Nautas took the opportunity to “make internal use and reorganize all processes”, having implemented, through Kaizen processes (continuous improvement). This bet was based, above all, on the offer of the departments and the team, making it “quite more efficient”. And, the results couldn’t be better. “Last year was the best year ever and, today, we have a 19% growth in turnover and ROI”, highlights Carlos Dias.
As for 2023, the official believes that “it will be a year of many challenges” and, given the global scenario, “the only certainty is uncertainty”, he says. However, new, advanced, that all other worlds are able to adopt, eventually, new, new, that will adopt solutions, that will be new, new, that will occur, to customers. This is, in fact, one of the great bets of the company, throughout its history. “Over the important years, we have some markets, namely integration software, for example”. In this sense, Carlos Dias advances that the company will “slowly introduce four new business areas in our market”.
Without going into details about new business areas, it is clear that the focus will always be on the customer, after the “Customer Centric” method, that is, the customer will be offered at the center and turning Nauta outwards. “We will see what the customer wants and, if it is sustainable, we will do it. In other words, our path will go through knowing what the market wants and we adapt”. Quickly reacting to market needs requires great responsiveness. “This is what we were preparing during the pandemic, so that, when the market started, as it did, we would already be ahead”, he says.
future is convergent
In an accelerating market of change, Carlos Dias believes that convergence will mark the trends of the coming times in the area of security. The future will, for example, involve “all equipment converging on an electronic interface that is always with us, that is, we have to aggregate all the dispersed information and converge everything on a single interface”, the smartphone.
The prominence still or the impact of the task of those responsible for the market, or young people qualify new for companies, mainly in the way they communicate with the most important professionals. Also at Nauta, the apostate has to take to new professional equipment under the age of 25, with degrees in completely different areas. Carlos Dias justifies this bet with the fact that there is “a new generation that is entering the market and that few are communicating with it – either because we do not know or we are not communicating”. In this sense, “only having professionals under the age of 25 will we be able to reach these younger professionals who are entering the market”.
