Portugal Fashion is at risk of lack of funding
Community support event and, without this help, it will not take place next year. Organization saved year edition.
Portugal Fashion, an event to promote national fashion that allows and leverage the year of independence of footwear and international footwear, is at risk of realizing the lack of from now on. October edition, which starts next Tuesday, will no longer be 85% financed by community funds, as usual. On the eve of the realization of the right, the National Association of Young Entrepreneurs (ANJE) found out that it had no financial money and, at the last minute, got enough support to maintain the parades and other initiatives. However, in 2023, there are no conditions to repeat the effort, which could mean the end of Portugal Fashion.
The JN found that the information about the lack of funding for the event was recently communicated by the managing entities of community funds. Portugal Fashion was being opened by Portugal 2020, however, the frame has come to an end and has not yet been opened (Portugal 2030) in which it can be inserted.
