Gate lock in half one
“We were top-shelf runners and showed incredible passion,” said Saalfelden’s interim coach, Markus Fürstaller. In an intense first half, the BSK recorded a slight field advantage, but the Pinzgauer held up well and tried to set a few pinpricks themselves. Goal area scenes remained a rarity for long stretches. A Khalil missile just missed its target (32′).
Pinzgauer overthrows the leader of the table
The first round was so poor in chances that the hosts started so brilliantly after the half-time gossip. A few moments were played when Benjamin Hutter delicately put the game device past the long corner. Shortly thereafter, twin brother David did better, unsustainably slammed the cherry into the long corner to take a 1-0 lead (50′). Three minutes later, Tandari showed his instincts, was spot on and pushed the ball over the line from close range to make it 2-0 (53′). When Eder scored the third goal on this Sunday afternoon (60th) after almost exactly one hour of play, the game was probably finally decided. “It was a hard-fought game that ended with a nice win for us. Our team played really well,” said Fürstaller, who then put the brakes on the euphoria: “It’s just a snapshot. There are still five difficult ones waiting in the fall Play on us.”
