Dr. Hüseyin Toros said, “As of October 1, the ‘Agricultural Water Year’ begins. So our water year has just begun. On the way to the rainy season. There is no situation that will put us at risk, as the slowdown will increase gradually to start from October,” he said.
“The biggest problem in front of people is actually waste”
Toros said, “Humanity is in the right state of not using it efficiently. It is actually the biggest problem in front of it today. We do not use resources efficiently. The amount of water supplied in Istanbul is over 3 million cubic meters. The accumulation of this water costs as much as the houses. “It costs more to purify it and all these producers are our energy consumers. We pollute our atmosphere with the energy we use. Polluted atmosphere, climate climate, causes deterioration in rain regimes. Actually, we are a barren year old, we are faced with a structure that cuts the branch. Here we have to buy it around us” .
