Leonardo Hotels open in Linz and Salzburg
Leonardo Hotels Central Europe is part of Fattal hotel groupdied in 1998 from David Fattal was founded and operates more than 250 hotels with around 45,000 rooms in 115 destinations and 20 countries. In Austria, the company was previously only with the Leonardo Vienna present in the sixth district. Leonardo Hotels Central Europe is now becoming one of the largest hotel providers in Austria.
The hotel chain operated in Berlin has died eight hotels of the insolvent Star Inn group adopted in Austria. These are the “Star Inn Linz”, the “Star Inn Salzburg Airport Messe”, the “Star Inn Salzburg Gablerbräu”, the “Star Inn Salzburg City”, the “Loft Collection Mirabell”, the “Loft Collection Linzergasse” in Salzburg as well as the »Star Inn Vienna Hauptbahnhof« and the »Star Inn Vienna Schönbrunn«. The previous owner was unable to open the other hotel property in Vienna (on Linke Wienzeile) after completion due to the pandemic. The reopening under the Leonardo brand is also scheduled for completion of the renovation investments planned for mid-December this year.
