Innsbruck@night: Shopping Night fulfills shopping centers, shops and restaurants
Thousands of people lined the streets of the city center on Friday evening at the Innsbruck Shopping Night. With a program that was as extensive as it was colorful, the visitors were motivated to stroll, shop and visit the restaurants.
INNSBRUCK. Just in time for the start of the Innsbruck Shopping Night, Mayor Georg Willi, Deputy Mayor Johannes Anzengruber and City Councilor for Economic Affairs Christine Oppitz-Plörer motivated the guests of the Shopping Night to equip themselves and invest for the autumn and winter, despite the current difficult times. “The entrepreneurs have thought a lot about it, there is a great supporting program and the gastronomy is also inviting, so let yourself be enchanted,” was the unanimous tenor.
A little later, the first “walking acts” started, followed by hundreds of people through Innsbruck’s city center. At Innsbruck’s market square, the hungry and thirsty throats were supplied with a street food market, while a lot of skateboarding action was shown there at the same time.
Colorful program
There was also a veritable rush of visitors to the city’s department stores, which was not least due to the many program items that Innsbruck Marketing came up with together with the retail companies.
The John Blow marching band and the Fantomatik Orchestra will provide the musical accompaniment. Until 10 p.m., the guests of the Shopping Night took the opportunity to stock up for autumn in a unique atmosphere.
