Viking ship and knife throwing demonstration
“The theme chosen this year is that of the Vikings”, specifies Régine Enée, vice-president in charge of tourism.
The history of Normandy is indeed closely linked to that of the Vikings. William the Conqueror, by unifying Normandy, marked the accomplishment of a project initiated long before him with these people who came from the north.
Among the novelties: a Viking ship will dock on the Muance and two knife-wielding virtuosos demonstrate throwing. It will also be possible to observe a reconstruction of the Bayeux Tapestry and participate in a medieval escape game. “But the key event this year remains the concert scheduled for Saturday at 8 p.m.”, adopt Régine Enée. “Two groups will perform on the stage set up in Argences, on the camp. »
