Sweden’s largest B2B video and streaming platforms are merging
Quickchannel and Screen9, the two largest suppliers of video and streaming platforms to the public sector in Sweden are to merge.
Their joint mission is to create the best-in-class, end-to-end video platform that offers a streamlined video experience for businesses and enterprises across Europe.
“We live in a new hybrid world and we expect no less from our employers than we do from the streaming services we get from our couches at home. This merger creates an opportunity to not only expand internationally to provide our customers with a next-generation platform experience, but also to work with them towards productivity and inclusive communication,” says Viktor Underwood (in the picture above, right), CEO of Quickchannel.
“In the wake of the pandemic, the demand for video communication tools exploded, and as a result, the increasing number of video providers has almost flooded the market. This, together with increased regulation, such as GDPR and WCAG, has made it almost impossible for customers to navigate. Today, there is not a single solution that meets customer needs while being compatible. The merger between Quickchannel and Screen9 will change that. Organizations today use multiple video tools – this costs both money and time. This merger will provide a complete video and webinar offering that is from scratch – which replaces the need for several tools and can offer a one-stop-shop that also meets all the rules for video communication,” says Robert Risberg (image above, left), CPO and founder of Screen9.
