Medientage München again as a face-to-face event / From October 18th to 20th / Over 400 speakers
After two years of digital and hybrid implementation, the 36th MEDIENTAGE MÜNCHEN 2022 will again take place as a face-to-face event. From October 18th to 20th, the who’s who of the media industry will meet in the ICM at Messe München. Under the motto “More topical than ever”, a conference program is offered on five stages with a good 400 speakers. There is also a special about training and recruiting. Various media companies and technology providers present themselves at the Expo. Numerous evening and networking events with prominent guests offer glamor – for example at the “Blue Panther – TV and Streaming Award” on October 19th.
dr Thorsten Schmiege, President of the Bavarian State Center for New Media (BLM) and Chairman of the Shareholders’ Meeting of Medien.Bayern GmbH, which is responsible for MEDIENTAGE MÜNCHEN:
“Media pervades all of life. The pandemic has shown that clearly. The media world has become even more diverse, digital and complex: technology, platforms and new ones shape the industry of our free-democratic society. There is no question that the media are more relevant than ever. But how do media stay relevant? How do you face new challenges? How are you positioning yourself for the future? That’s what the media days are about in 2022.”
The state headquarters organizes the audio track and Europe Day at MEDIENTAGE MÜNCHEN. There will also be a Web3 Summit, which will discuss how the new Internet is changing the world of media. The Media Bavaria Sustainability Pact will be presented for the first time. Other top topics are: training and new work, diversity, journalism and publishing, politics and society, social media, TV and streaming, advertising and marketing, and XR.
