Lukas Podolski is working on the music festival – what is known so far
So now music too: the former Cologne star striker Werk in North Rhine-Westphalia is holding a festival lasting several days – and doing it on a grand scale.
Was work “Poldi” a nun? This is something people are puzzled about in Cologne and around the world after the former star striker of 1. FC Köln advertised a new business idea on Instagram with a video. The 37-year-old, who is busy in Cologne’s economy, is now planning a festival after a brewery, an ice cream parlor chain, a fashion label and then a kebab chain, which are already advertising with his name.
That can be guessed from the video that Podolski, who is currently under contract with the Polish first division club Górnik Zabrze, published on his Instagram page on Wednesday morning. Black and white shots of a helicopter flight by the Cologne native can be seen, the machine carries the only number ten of 1. FC Köln over the Hockenheimring.
Podolski tells his fans: “Something big is coming your way next year,” and then calls the rapper Marteria, to whom he promises: “I’ve got something really cool planned, you have to be at the start.” For what exactly, that stays not clear. Marteria will probably only find out about this on September 28th – then there should be more information about the event next year, according to Podolski.
