Landjugend Salzburg: Powerful team at the head of Landjugend Salzburg
Almost 120 officials and guests of honor will meet on Saturday, September 17, 2022 at the Hotel Heffterhof Salzburg to elect the provincial leadership of the Landjugend Salzburg.
Claudia Frauenschuh from Neumarkt am Wallersee remains the leader and takes over the leadership of the largest youth organization in Salzburg together with the newly elected regional leader Andreas Steiner (Piesendorf, Pinzgau).
The 71st general meeting of the rural youth of Salzburg had many special features in store. At 4:30 p.m. the delegates of the local and district associations met. Numerous guests of honor, including Provincial Councilor Daniela Gutschi, Youth Provincial Councilor Andrea Klambauer, Provincial Councilor Josef Schwaiger and President of the Salzburg Chamber of Agriculture Rupert Quehenberger attended.

They are assisted by five female and three deputies. The team is completed by Magdalena Löcker (Tamsweg, Lungau), Magdalena Fink (Seekirchen, Flachgau), Stefanie Wallinger (Abtenau, Tennengau), Magdalena Brunauer (Salzburg, Flachgau), Kathrin Gruber (Unternberg, Lungau), Rupert Mairhofer (Bischofshofen, Pongau) , Michael Hollaus (Piesendorf, Pinzgau) and Maximilian Hirscher (Grödig, Flachgau). The newly selected functions are delighted with the trust placed in them and already have precise ideas for the coming year. “For me, the exchange between local groups, districts and the state leadership is very important. I am particularly pleased that representatives from all five districts of Salzburg are now at the head of the Landjugend Salzburg. Intensive planning for the coming annual program will begin in the next two months. In addition to the well-installed program, the members and officials can expect some innovations that we can look forward to.

“With 63 local and district associations throughout the state, we are proud to be the largest and most active youth organization in Salzburg. The path we have taken, further training for members and officials, promoting voluntary project work, promoting the training of young people who take over the farm and taking a stand on social issues with self-confidence – these are our goals in the coming period,” says country manager Claudia Frauenschuh. Markus Aigner said goodbye after 7 years as a functionary. After two years on the board of the Eugendorf rural youth, two years as district leader of the Flachgau rural youth and three years as state leader, he may have returned to his position. With tireless commitment, he led the fortunes of the rural youth of Salzburg at all levels. “We won’t talk long and we’ll talk about it, now and not at some point,” says the country youth song, which motto “Max” always lived.
Markus Ertl has been a member of the board of the rural youth in Lamprechtshausen since 2013. After two years as state manager deputy he resigned from his position in the national administration. He was largely responsible for the further development of the Landjugend Salzburg and laid the foundation for many projects. Such as the redesign of the “Day of the Rural Youth” as an online stream, the new forestry decision in Kuchl or the 70th anniversary of the rural youth in Salzburg in the Stiegl Brauwelt.
