Vila Meã starts Portuguese Championship with defeat in Pedras Salgadas [C/ÁUDIO] – Amarante Express
AC Vila Meã was defeated, 1-0, against Juventude Pedras Salgadas, in the match for the 1st round of Serie A of the Portuguese Championship.
Amarante marker formation was early on no markers. The Brazilian Katatau, in the 24th minute, sent the only goal of the match. Vila Meã got the final result.
The red-black coach, Pedro Machado, regretted the bad start in the game and guaranteed that Vila Meã did enough to leave Pedras Salgadas “with another result”.
“We didn’t get into the game well. The accessory in a natural and fair way, reached the goal. And that moment was the click on my team. From there, we balanced the situation, we have clear situations to draw before the break and the second half is ours, with several clear chances of goal. We lost the game, but after 25 minutes my players gave an excellent response. We deserved another result”, he assured.
In the same series, Amarante FC won 2-0 against São Martinho, with goals from Diogo Vila and Dória.
On the next round, scheduled for Sunday, at 15:00, Vila Meã will make their debut at home against Merelinense.
