San Marino. Free accuses the Government: “territory in disarray”
“The safety of its citizens must be the priority for any government that takes office and wishes to govern with foresight. Safety that can be considered on various levels, such as health, road, education, work. From this point of view, a government that wants to be respectful of those it represents has the obligation of security and to invest in particular in school buildings ”.
This is how a press release of Free. “We have received many reports with respect to the Borgo Maggiore nursery school and its building that defining a standard (and safe) would be an affront to common sense. It would even seem that the summer camps that have been active for years in that complex this summer were not created precisely to allow the building to be made safe. However, works that have not yet been completed when activities resumed a few days ago. The consequence of the serious problems (attached in the photo) not only have not been resolved but have seen the intervention of civil protection to isolate the areas at risk by limiting the usable spaces but inevitably leaving traces of damage structures that for a building with our our children and grandchildren cannot be tolerated in any way. The memory goes immediately to the crazy expenses that this government has put in place, such as the allocation of € 300,000 for a study on the seismic removal of the hospital to a friend of Rome. When not only can you spend much less than half with other studios, but that there was already a plan implemented recently.
In light of the photographic evidence, what does the government intend to do for the safety of the building and its young users? Why have we not acted repentantly to secure the building or the possible closure of a complex that does not seem to have any safety requirements? Questions to which the Canti Secretary, as the owner of the secretariat for the Territory and the Belluzzi secretary as the Secretary for Education, have the duty to dare to answer. The waste of money from this management is there for all to see (such as the “Conforti consultancy” for a hospital that probably won’t even be done) but mismanagement of these levels is intolerable.
We therefore ask the Executive to intervene immediately in order to resolve critical issues not worthy of a civilized country ”.
