Order of Architects of San Marino signs memorandum of understanding with the Italian Orders and the Provinces of Rimini and Pesaro-Urbino
At its core, there is the ideal goal of building one community of architects at an international level. It is the first memorandum of understanding between the Orders of the two countries. “A beautiful collaboration – he declares Francesco Miceli, President of the National Council of Architects – on topics and contents concerning the profession and the role of the architect; the important contribution that our community – beyond the borders – can dare to the city, to the future of the city, to the territory, to the great architectural values we have at San Marino, come to Italy“. Agreement with the Italian Order, agreement with the Orders of Province of Rimini and Pesaro-Urbino, in an already active relationship strong in the proximity of the territories, and which the agreement places in a formal framework – he notes Carmen Storoni, president of the Order of Architects of the Province of Pesaro-Urbino – “in the name of sharing and quality, of the quality of architecture, of being together”.
“The Orders of Rimini and Pesaro-Urbino – he continues Filomena Marangelli, President of the Order of Architects of the Province of Rimini – he does not belong only to geographical borders, he belongs to a territory and a history. And this can only be the prerequisite for building a future together, because teamwork is fundamental for us ”. Training, ethics, events and competitions of ideas are the possible operational areas for the professional growth of members – explains the President of the Order of Engineers and Architects of San Marino, Luca Zanotti – in an agreement which, for the Titan, looks to the EU Association: “The agreement is envisaged as a sort of preparatory greeting – he adds – to the Association Agreement. It is important for us to have a relationship with Italy and eventually reach, with the Association Agreement, a well-defined channel also with Europe ”. At the table with the Secretary of the Territory, Stefano Cantiwe look together at the 83rd Session of the UNECE Committee, in San Marino in October, and at the meeting, in that context, with the archistar Norman Foster.
