Löwen lose championship lead: Elversberg wins in Halle
Munich – Almost 20 hours after the 3-1 win against Erzgebirge Aue, TSV 1860 Munich lost its lead in the third division again.
With a 3-1 away win at Hallerschen FC, promoted SV Elversberg was able to regain the top spot from the Löwen thanks to the better goal difference.
Elversberg wins: Löwen slip to second place
The home team was able to equalize the early lead of Elversberger through Schnellbacher (4th) in the 14th minute through Zimmerschmied. In the second round it was Rochelt (58th) and Feil (71st) who made the 3-1 victory for the guests from Elversberg and thus their return to the top of the table perfect.
Elversberg is now seven games in a row without defeat, six of which they have won, including last weekend’s clear 4-1 win against TSV 1860 Munich.
Elversberg and the Sechzger each have 22 points after the 9th match day, but the Saarlanders have a goal difference that is four goals better.
