Sustainable Development Week in Avignon: Avignon City Hall
A word from Cécile Helle
Fires, drought, heat waves, violent weather phenomena, more than ever, unfortunately, this summer of 2022 has confronted us with the urgency of acting for the climate.
It is in this context that the European Sustainable Development Week opens, organized from September 18 to October 8, 2022, aimed at raising awareness of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals of the 2030 Agenda.
Because we took on environmental issues as soon as we took over in 2014, and because we are doing everything we can to build a sustainable, breathable city, we have chosen this year to promote our Local Climate Plan during this week. , adopted last June by the City Council.
Conferences, debate meetings, visits to particularly virtuous equipment, events, advice on energy savings… throughout this week, the City of Avignon is out to meet you and invites you to better understand what is at stake, to discover our actions for the climate, to act together.
Because every gesture counts, let’s act together for the planet and the future of our children!
