Congress ″Business Portugal″ debates industry and sustainability in Matosinhos
More than 50 participants, including 0 academics, decision makers and academics, debate, this Friday, at Exponor, in Matos, the challenges of industry and sustainability at the congress “Portugal Empresarial”, announced “Portugal Empresarial”.

Promoted by the Business Association of Portugal (AEP), the congress – which is attended, among others, by the President of the Republic, Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa, the Minister of Economy and the Sea, António Costa Silva, the European Commissioner Elisa Ferreira and of the President of the Economic and Social Council (CES), Francisco Assis – will have “the design of Portugal’s competitiveness as a priority focus”.
“Everyone, without exception, must be summoned to reflect and valid solutions to face the vulnerable and very uncertain period that this period has the broadest possible perspective”, said the president of the AEP, in statements to the Lusa agency.
Defending “the correct projects to support trust, speed, efficiency and efficiency”, Luís Miguel Ribeiro that this can be achieved with “the speed of public policies, namely through the allocation and use of the generous endowment of efficiency” countries at the disposal of the country, focusing on a strong commitment to companies, improving their productivity, competitiveness and sustainability”.
At this level, he highlighted the “important role” that Banco Português de Fomento should play.

Scheduled for this afternoon, between 2:30 pm and 7:30 pm, “Portugal Empresarial” will have detailed thematic topics such as public policies, dem, such as digital, thematic and energy transitions, innovation and privacy.
Paulas Portas, with an intervention on the “Changing Geopolitical Scenario: Perspectives”, and José Manuel Félix Ribeiro, who will address the theme “Sustainability: Changing the Economic and Social Paradigm”, will be the two keynote speakers of the congress.
The program also provides for two debate panels, the first challenge of reindustrialization. Competitiveness – with the participation of Pedro Siza Vieira Rios, the second entitled “The challenge of circular economy sustainability – Energy Transition – Demography” (and does not qualify João Pedro Matos Fernandes, José Pedro Freitas and Ana Silva Tavares).
The closing session will be addressed by the President of CES, Francisco Assis, the Commissioner for Cohesion and Reform, Elisa Ferreira, and the Minister of Economy and the Sea, António Costa Silva.
A dinner follows, with the presence of the President of the Republic, Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa, during which the AEP “distinguishes those who have stood out in the national fabric” with the “Carreira” (a businessman and a company), “Company Sustainable”, “Export and Internationalization” and “SME Innovation”.
