Instagram introduces parental supervision tools in Portugal
Instagram announced other, Thursday, the introduction of new tools for parents, guardians and teens including social networking, or the latest parental browsing features launched in countries earlier this year.
Among the various tools launched in Portugal by Meta parental supervision on Instagram is sending teenagers an invitation to supervise their account or accept an invitation from their teenager.
Also allow to see the time or the teen spend daily on Instagram and establish schedule breaks for the limits of social programming of the day, according to the network.
Parents and guardians receive a notification whenever their teen reports an account or post — including which account and what type of content.
Also included is the launch of the Family Center, in which parents in Portugal and around the world will be able to visit this space that has content reviewed by experts that will help teenagers and parents navigate the digital world.
It also includes new tools to help teens better manage the time they spend on Instagram.
The Meta The Meta is a new global sound feature aimed at teens switching from encouraging to trying out a new type of looking at the same content in the “explore” area.
“Although it is still being tested and we hope it can become the owner of Instagram.
Meta has created a process that helps apply the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child in product development.
“This framework is used by all teams at Meta to apply the same standards in the development of all digital experiences for all those under 18 years old”, refers to the technology, which assures that it will continue to work “collaboratively ” to respond to the needs of more young people in the ‘app’ [aplicações].
