From December 11th, the WESTbahn three direct connections per day from Vienna to Innsbruck and back. In addition to the stops between Vienna and Salzburg, there are also stops in Kufstein and Wörgl on the way to the Tyrolean capital. The trains run from Salzburg without stopping via the Deutsches Eck to Kufstein.
Tickets for the new connections to Tyrol are now available www.westbahn.at , in the WESTshops and in tobacconists. From 1 December there will also be a WESTbahn information and sales counter in Innsbruck main station.
The aim of WESTbahn is to accept all valid network tickets in the Innsbruck – Kufstein section. Discussions are currently being held with the Verkehrsverbund Tirol (VVT) about this.
