Weather for Munich and Bavaria: Autumn with sun and rain is here

In northern Franconia, continuous rain is even expected on Wednesday. There will be thunderstorms on Wednesday, especially north of the Danube – with heavy rain, hail and gusts.
The warm temperatures were replaced by dark clouds and lots of precipitation on Wednesday. In the night to Thursday frequent showers, sometimes with thunderstorms. Minimum temperature: 17 to 12 degrees. It should be the warmest on Thursday in Chiemgau (23 degrees).
It could get wet at the Oktoberfest start on Saturday (September 17). “The chances of a dry and warm Oktoberfest opening at the weekend are poor,” said a meteorologist from the German Weather Service (DWD). It will be overcast – and there will be rain again and again.
Wiesn visitors have to dress warmly if they don’t want to freeze when the tapping on Saturday: More than 12 degrees are probably hardly possible.
