Lisbon Metropolitan Command of the Public Security Police (PSP) on Monday detained a 34-year-old man for domestic violence.
The agency in a statement explains “knowledge of a couple in authority who had the disorder” at the station, with agents of the station having gone to the scene. The victim, “visibly transformed and with marks on her face”, went to see the police.
“Because it is a foreign city, and after the language barrier was broken, she complained of the same pain in her neck, having been attacked several times in the face here,” the same statement said. In this way, the police “went after the suspect, who was spotted and intercepted outside the station”, having been arrested.
The man after having presented the first judicial interrogation, stayed in contact with the victim.
