Interviews with Michele Muratori and Margareta Cederfelt
The role of delegation, the contribution of San Marino to the OSCE in the meeting with the President of the Assembly, Margareta Cederfelt and the Secretary General Roberto Montella. Discussion morning on issues specific to the organization, on operational ambitions and issues of common interest on which to work, on a broad spectrum, with the Delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly, represented by Maria Luisa Berti and Michele Muratori. “There are many themes dealt with, which rotate in three dimensions. That policy – Muratori – with the energy supply in mind and explains to her that they spring from it. Environmental issues, to try to bring the 2030 agenda to the attention of all Parliaments. Then, the third dimension, that of human rights, with the trafficking of human beings that is raging in war zones. clearly the fight against fake news, to which San Marino is particularly attentive. I am very satisfied – says Muratori – because President Cederfelt has recognized all the work done by San Marino in recent years ”. President Cederfelt starts from here, in highlighting thepractical and ideal contribution of the Titan to the OSCE: “First of all – he says – we talked about the role of the San Marino delegation in the OSCE, which has always been one of great participation in all the activities of the body. I am thinking, for example, of election observation. But also to the fact that before his election as Captain Regent, Oscar Mina was head of delegation and also Special Representative for Disinformation and Fake News. We talked about how San Marino can continue to maintain this active role. I believe that the experience that comes from San Marino – in diplomacy, in the path of mediation – is very very precious for the Organization and in the Parliamentary Assembly.
