More than 100 children from Belarus and Russia have a rest, study and improve their health in the Lepel sanatorium
Rest, study and heal. In the Lepel sanatorium, more than 100 children from Belarus and Russia will lead their health and get to know each other. The annual program of the Union of Children with a population of about 2,000 becomes available in the best health resorts of the killing countries. How many new impressions did the children have?
Their schedule includes not only lessons, but also magnetotherapy, light therapy and even a pool of dense water. More than 100 children from Belarus and Russia will take their health to a sanatorium near Lepel.
Three weeks in the health resort – rehabilitation and a large educational program. Guests will open Belarus and get acquainted with their peers. The geography of residence in the buildings – from Khoiniki to the Altai Territory. Children really like it here – many older comrades tell about different holidays. It took 4 days for schoolchildren to get to the sanatorium from the outback Russia.
Nelya Boykova, Specialist of the Ministry of Labour, Social Development and Employment of the Altai Territory (Russia): “For the first time, our children saw a bison, but we have never seen such an impression! Parents have already said: “Thank you very much, the children are very happy, it’s interesting.”
During the morning in the medical building, schoolchildren visit several rooms, and everyone here has an individual approach. The main participants in such health programs are children who live in the territories affected by the disasters at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant. Now the second shift is coming to an end – there are four of them this year. In 2023, funding will increase by almost 10%.
Lyudmila Kananovich, Chairman of the Standing Commission on Labor and Issues “Our commission of the parliamentary assembly on social policy and public order is already considering this budget, and we have approached the formation of the budget very seriously. About 58 million Russian rubles will be spent on improving the health of our children. I think it’s very, very important.”
The program, which is financed from the budget of the Union of States, was launched 20 years ago, during which time about 25 thousand schoolchildren of the two countries improved their health and found new friends. The project considers the best health resorts in Belarus and Russia.
The next shift is closed noisily: with songs, dances and knights. For vacationers today there is a great lesson in history and folk traditions under the European sky, round dances, medieval battles, Belarusian weaving – you can try everything and participate everywhere.
Next year, the health resort near Lepel will be able to get rest for even more children from Belarus and Russia. The construction of a new building is nearing completion, this includes additional medical procedures and another plus 166 places for vacationers.
